Dr. Carol Cislak Takes Service Trip to Tanzania

MCWHC physician Dr. Carol Cislak accompanied her son’s New Trier high school service group to Tanzania this past summer, where they joined other high school service clubs and conservation organizations to replant trees at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and help preserve the land base and reforest the area. Joining with the Jane Goodall Institute and local Roots and Shoots programs, Dr. Cislak’s group also worked to develop a community educational center and library, and distributed school supplies, books, and puzzles to twelve local schools. The group enjoyed an amazing cultural experience and many memories and photos to last a lifetime. Dr. Cislak sees patients at our Evanston (2500 Ridge Ave.) and Buffalo Grove (135 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Suite 101A) locations.
