About the Certified Nurse - Midwife:
  • Linda Given Welch, C.N.M., M.S. – a Certified Nurse-Midwife since 1993 – practices in our Evanston and Glenview offices and is affiliated with NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, Skokie and Glenbrook Hospitals). She completed her Nurse-Midwifery Training at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1992. Linda graduated from Rush University with a Masters of Science in Maternal Child Nursing. There, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. Linda has served as clinical instructor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and also as an adjunct clinical instructor of maternal child nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
