About the Certified Nurse - Midwife:
- Katherine Puls is both an Advanced Practice Nurse (A.P.N.) and a Certified Nurse-Midwife (C.N.M.), and has practiced nurse midwifery since 1973. She is based in our office Evanston. She provides labor support and delivers babies at NorthShore University HealthSystem locations (Evanston Hospital). Kathy attended graduate school at the University of Utah and completed her midwifery residency on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico.
