Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare (MCWHC) is the largest group of board certified obstetrics and gynecology physicians in the state of Illinois. We are nearly forty doctors strong, and are also pleased to offer our patients the services of certified nurse-midwives. Many of our physicians hold residency teaching and leadership positions at local medical universities and hospitals, and have been practicing in the OB-GYN field for an average of more than fifteen years.
The physicians of MCWHC are very well established in the communities of Chicago’s North Shore and the surrounding suburbs, and many have treated several generations of patients within the same family. While we’re big enough to offer you the most advanced level of care, we’re small enough to know your name. As an MCWHC patient, you receive your care from the physician or practitioner you choose in the location most convenient for you. Obstetric Care:
- Prenatal and postpartum care
- Ultrasounds – prenatal, first trimester Down screening
- Fetal non stress tests
- Genetic counseling
Counseling and Education:
- Contraception, adolescent, preconception, perimenopause and menopause
Gynecological Care:

Screening:
- General health maintenance, bone density testing (DEXA scan), breast, cervical, and other gynecological cancers

Minimally Invasive Surgery and Procedures:
