Dr. Chimene Pellar sees patients in our Des Plaines and Buffalo Grove – McHenry Rd.
Dr. Chimene Pellar is a board-certified gynecologist who has been caring for women since 1998. After three decades of delivering babies as an OB/GYN, Dr. Pellar now focuses exclusively on gynecology and women’s health, helping women thrive through every stage of life. She provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including birth control counseling, menopause and perimenopause management, annual well-woman visits, and evaluation of abnormal Pap smears and abnormal bleeding. She also performs in-office procedures such as colposcopy, LEEP, and treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding. In addition, Dr. Pellar has expertise in adolescent gynecology, hormone replacement therapy, and infertility counseling. She attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Pellar is affiliated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Dr. Pellar sees patients in her Buffalo Grove and Des Plaines offices and she also offers telehealth appointments.
